Current Curriculum
Beginning in the fall of 2022, TreeHouse Christian Learning Center will be using the Faith-based Pinnacle curriculum from the Childcare Education Institute. This is a research-based early childhood curriculum, designed with both teachers and students in mind. Based on the works of Piaget, Gardner, and Erikson, Pinnacle provides early childhood educators with lessons that engage children in developmentally appropriate activities.
As they play, children will develop a love of learning while participating in activities that adhere to early childhood education industry standards. The flexible nature of the lessons allows teachers to tailor their approach to their student's learning abilities and styles. Each month will have a theme and a Bible focus.
The philosophy of Pinnacle is based on the belief that each child is an individual who grows at different rates and in different ways. The teacher’s goal is to discover each child’s special abilities through careful observation and interaction. Learning is an active process, and children learn best through exploring, creating, thinking, and problem-solving.
